I was raised in the country, loving nature & being outside in the natural light.  I've always cherished my relationships with family & friends. When I left my small town & headed to college, those close friends of mine were the first to point out I couldn't go anywhere without my cameraI took a photography class my junior year in college & that's when my REAL love for it started.   After I graduated, I started working for a clothing company as their product photographer & soon became second shooter for all of their lifestyle photoshoots with professional models.  Co-workers started asking if I'd like to take photos of their kiddos & eventually I decided to go out on a limb, take a chance & put my passion into a side business. I get to be out in nature & natural light, using my love for photography to capture memories for my friends & family while meeting new, amazing people all at the same time. What more could a girl want?! I'm extremely thankful!

  • My nieces mean the world to me. I would do absolutely anything for my family and close friends.

  • Darla, my cat, is queen around here. If you see a girl walking around the Rivermarket with her cat in a backpack, it's probably me!

  • Country music. It makes me the happiest.  

  • Coffee all day, every day

  • My 9-5 job. I retouch images of beautiful jewelry all day. 

  • My little sis Karina. It's hard to believe we've been matched through Big Brothers Big Sisters for almost 8 years now!

  • Traveling. Even if it's a weekend getaway... always worth it.

  • The feeling after a good workout. Love BodyPump!

  • Anything & everything true crime.

  • Friends, the Office, Parks & Rec...need I say more?

  • Oversized tees.

  • Thin crust pizza, peanut butter, & popcorn topped with parmesan cheeeeese.

  • Capri Blue candle from Anthro, yes that exact one (worth the $$ I promise).

  • That KC skyline.

  • My cowgirl boots, all six pairs.

  • WINE. End of story.
